Back at my desk after half term – although it didn’t quite go to plan.
Instead of going on coastal walks and properly resetting, I ended up cancelling trips and negotiating with a very uncooperative bug. Not exactly the recharge I had in mind! If you’re self-employed, you’ll be familiar with that strange combination of frustration and relief: frustration at the lost plans and relief that the deadlines were met before the illness took hold.
Now it’s back to reality: inbox review, reopening project files and making sure everything is in order again. This week is all about building momentum. I'll be reviewing tourism content, picking up localisation projects and ensuring that nothing was overlooked during the half-term break.
If you’ve been waiting to move forward with English–German tourism translations, now would be a good time to move them back up your priority list. My project slots are open again, and I’m ready to get started.
