Today I visited the Belvoir Castle Flower & Garden Show, and it was one of those days where the experience mattered more than filling my camera roll.

Today I visited the Belvoir Castle Flower & Garden Show, and it was one of those days where the experience mattered more than filling my camera roll.

Highlights included listening to David Domoney, joining a fascinating garden tour with Andy Tudbury, Head Gardener at Belvoir Castle, and even being treated to a spectacular Spitfire flypast overhead.

The beautiful gardens, the atmosphere and the stunning setting made it a day to remember. I spent far more time looking than photographing – and it was well worth it…
