When February Flies By – Why Now Is the Time to Review Your Tourism Translations

February always feels like the month that sprints past you while you are still finishing your first coffee. One minute it is New Year planning mode, the next I am deep in translation and review work for tours and destinations, fine-tuning programme descriptions, adjusting tone, checking whether that “hidden gem” still sounds charming in German or not.

Half term arrived – along with a rather unwelcome bug – which forced an unplanned pause. Not ideal, but sometimes a reset is less about choice and more about timing. Stepping back gave me space to review a few subscriptions and memberships, question what is actually useful, and look at a super exciting new option that feel more aligned with where I want to take my business this year. Always a good trade.

Now March is around the corner, and I still have a few project slots available. If parts of your tourism content need translating, localising or reworking so they truly speak to your German-speaking audience rather than simply existing in German, this is a good moment to get in touch.

If your tours, hotel descriptions or destination pages are due a language refresh before the spring and summer push, what is currently on your list?
